How our Grain
Storage works

The BKB Grain Storage process can be explained in three easy steps:

Find and contact your nearest storage depot to indicate that you have grain to store

Transport the grain with a storage truck to the depot where we will test and grade your produce to ensure what you deliver is what your collect

We place your grain in a silo bag, where it can be stored for a long or short term.

BKB Grain Storage Northern Region

Pieter Buitendag is our depot manager in Robertsdrif, Free State region. They store grain, which includes commodities such as maize, and soya beans, harvested by farmers in the region.

Stephan van der Merwe is our depot manager in Vlaklaagte, Mpumalanga region. The intake occurs in 4 steps; taking a sample, analysing the sample, weighing of the sample and unloading the product.
